The Bridge (East Midlands)

The Bridge (East Midlands) is a charity that works to prevent and relieve homelessness across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. They are a strategic lead of the Charnwood Food Poverty Group and house the Food Poverty Development Officer.
Since 1995, they have been offering advise, assistance and advocacy to those facing housing crisis or who are suffering homelessness.
They provide hot food vouchers to eligible rough sleepers where possible, and provide food parcels to those in need dependent on availability.
Food parcels are on a first come first serve basis.
Their housing services are free, impartial and confidential, including:

  • Housing Matters for individuals and families (long-term support)
  • Rapid Rehousing Pathway
  • talk²sort Mediation for 11-19 year olds and their families
  • Single Access Point for 16-17 year olds
  • Moneywise Plus to enhance digital and financial skills
  • Rutland Community Well-being Service
  • Customer Services Support
